Batzewert - Limburg an der Lahn

On a nice sunny day in Limburg, it was nice to take lunch sitting outdoors. The food was hearty and great value. I think we ended up paying EUR for two meals and two drinks. A number of locals have this as their regular...pub, it has character. If you found my review helpful I would appreciate your vote

The Batzewert is a typical old type of a taverne in Limburg. Location at the edge of the historic old town is perfect to jump in for a drink or some more. The rustique character of interieur invites to spend some extra time there....Meals are special for the area around Limburg, but average only on quality unfortunately. Nevertheless, a good place to see a lot of other people

If you want a traditional atmosphere and great value beer, this place is just the job. Not trendy and that’s a compliment

There is outdoor seating but it was a light drizzle so we ate indoors. Not too many tables. Pleasant waitress and service. We each had weiswurst THe frau had wine and I had coke. Decent price. Enjoyable

This is a very typical Kneipe, with good solid food, like Schnitzel with green sauce. This goes well with the great choice of beers. Great point to start a night on town in Limburg
