"Recently my family and I had lunch here after doing our Memorial Day grave decorating. This building is special to us, as our father, and grandfather, once owned it. The current owner went out of his way to welcome us and to acknowledge our history with his building, telling us we were free to roam and check out anything we liked. He even shared written histories of Cresco with us that included information about our dad.The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the homemade rhubarb pie was the piece-de-resistance! It is a family operation, and we made friends not only with the owner, but his wife (the talented chef and pie maker! and his step-daughter, who took over as our waitress.This is a cozy, clean, friendly place that won't break the bank. Stop here whenever you're in Cresco!"
