"In one of the most beautiful villages in Ireland Adare. Family Pub for the last century. Great food and drink. Traditional music Tuesday and Thursday. Live bands on weekends. You could meet someone here. Nice to see Bill Chawkes is back in full operation February 2022 to Kovid. Under the watchful eye of the big Al, things are normal again. Roll on 2026 and the Ryder Cup. Very large area for all events. Race of Cheltenham"

"We randomly stopped here because my husband needed some coffee. Thankful we did because the lady working was SO nice and when we told her about where we were headed she suggested the ferry that we had no clue existed. Gave us a nice break from driving. My husband said the coffee was great, too!"

"I had the guacamole burger, it has to be one of the nicest and tastiest burgers I've eaten in a very long time. The fries were also delicious. My wife had an amazing open prawn and salmon on brown bread."

"As a rule we would normally avoid harbour restaurants as they have a more touristy feel and the food can often be compromised as the restaurant does not need to try so hard to attract clientele. This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel so we gave it a try and were pleasantly surprised. Complimentary glass of Prosecco on being seated and wide ranging menu of fish and pasta. Atmosphere is guaranteed due to the busy location but the service was still good despite how busy the restaurant was. We had gnocchi, fish of the day and a couple of appetisers and the food was well cooked and v tasty. Great local white wine recommendation from our server too. We didn’t try any of the other restaurants but would imagine this is one of the better options on Ischia harbour."

"Visiting family in my parents home town of Adare. Took a wander towards the Adare Manor gates and spotted The Good Room. Pretty building like many of the Adare cottages, a beautiful sunny day so made the most of sitting outside. I sat with a pot of tea and a muffin not certain what flavour it was but looked and tasted good. Several people sat outside eating various different things. Staff were friendly and it was not expensive I visited the toilets which were also clean. Interior of the property has been gutted which would be my only criticism as its lost its character inside."
