"Excellent basic restaurant over the manufacture and shop of Foie Gras Lembert. Mainly on the terrace looking up to the castle. A decent fixed price menu featured the excellent shop products and home cooked local food. Service was friendly and prompt. Enjoyed our visit."

"A couple of weeks ago our family was in a house in calés and went to the city looking for a good bakery! the earlier name of my mother was ulrich who attracted us more than the other places of the city. what a good choice! their products are delicious!...bade was that they were ready to go on a holiday!.so we could only enjoy a few days delicious pastries. where we live, we have in the usa a French bakery, which is very successful, always full of people. we are of course clients and we have come back, my first buy was at this place....sad to say, they are good, but never, ever as good as ulrich 's!...We will never have these delicious croissants again, unless and until we go back."

"We visited La Savie for dinner. The restaurant was quiet but we were warmly welcomed by Melanie and,subsequently, by the chef Frederic Marchant. The location is quiet and off the beaten track but absolutely worth the visit. Frederic is focussed on quality ingredients (some of which are grown in the restaurant gardens). The converted barn is intimate and charming. The food was inventive, beautifully presented and even catered for 2 vegetarians in our party of Five people. If there was a weakness it was that the desserts (tiramisu and crime brûlée) were not up to the standard if the starters and main courses. The menu (fixed price) changes regularly according to the available seasonal ingredients. The wine list is well presented and includes some excellent local wines. All in all, this is a lovely restaurant, run by charming people and absolutely worthy of a Michelin star- I am sure that they will achieve one before too long."
