Booked a table for 5.30. We arrived at 5 on the off chance we could eat early. Table was almost ready. Good job we arrived early!! Service was unbelievably slow. Took over an hour to get our food. Waitress brought them out using a tea towel.... There was no need as the plates were stone cold. Batter on fish and chips not cooked. Steak tough. Extremely expensive, and ale not in best condition (it was 11am and maybe not pulled-through).
Lovely modern pub with a classic vide. Good staff clean and spacious. Drinks prices fine.
