Popped in for lunch with my wife today and was pleasantly surprised. We initially went in as there was a buffet advertised but it 's not a conventional all you can eat chafing dish buffet . This buffet consists of you ordering from a set menu (it 's pretty massive) and they bring you the dishes fresh and hot from the kitchen instead of you helping yourself from dishes that could have been there for ages. What wingate doesn't like about The Place:
Advertises itself as a buffet but isn't. I ordered chicken noodle soup,little chicken and few noodles,and seafood noodles. The noodles were brought when I was still on my soup and I told them to take it back.However when I did get it back there were loads of noodles but not a lot of seafood.Two mussels, 4 prawas and some squid..I asked for the desert menu.They were asking £9.50 for toffee bananas, about twice the nor...
