What Rachael Eliker doesn't like about El Potrero South:
Visited El Potrero for a girl's night, and was very underwhelmed with the whole experience. To put it frankly, for cuisine that is known for its vibrant, complex flavors, the food they served was SO bland. The chicken in my combo plate tasted like it was boiled and for too long, making it tough and tasteless. The cheese sauce was like plastic, and the quesadilla wasn't even grilled. ???? The decor was beautiful. The food was delicious and the service was great. Our waiter was attentive without being annoying. Best thing was the very comfortable booths. Easy to get in and out. Can't wait to go back. I don't understand the negative reviews. View all feedback.
