"We had a super nice school introduction on 19.08.23. From planning to implementation everything worked great. The owners are very hospitable and have enabled us, our child and all guests a very nice day. The children spent the whole day on the bouncy castle, which was placed by the owners. With our waiter Christian we had the best service we could only wish. The food was an absolute Gaumenschmauß from salad, pasta, meat, vegetables, to dessert. The ambience in the beer garden in beautiful weather is just to enjoy. We can only recommend it and look forward to the next visit to the Helenenstein restaurant."

"I can only agree with some reviews here. We had a stop on Thursday afternoon on the way. Who wants to return to the GDR seems to be completely here. Unfortunately, the owner has a rather strange way to communicate with his guests. He seemed pretty reworked and stressed. We have shown an understanding of his health situation, simply ignored his words and consumed the typical GDR foods. The sections were sufficient and cost-effective. On the return journey on Sunday afternoon we stopped to take Thüringer Bratwürste. On the occasion we had ordered food. Wow, I have rarely experienced such an unfriendly way that the owner gave us today. He told us that he worked until deep into the night before and he finally wanted to close. Honestly, we are eight paying, friendly guests. If he had said there was nothing left, we wouldn't have a problem with it. But to calm us down is definitely not customer-friendly. When the wrong food came, everything was too late. The interior can also be so large, but you don't have to wonder if the clientele remains. We won't stop there."

Der Mittagstisch bietet warme Gerichte, selbstverständlich verschiedene Arten von Braten und Thüringer Grüne Klöße. Besonders lecker ist auch der Salatteller in Wetzdorf.Die Abendkarte bietet das typische "Kurzgebratene" an. Es gibt Rostbrätel oder "Strammen Max".Das Flair ist dörflich rustikal, aber stets gemütlich. Die Preise sind überaus angemessen.Immer gerne wieder!"
