"Well....I will start with the meal was fine, nothing burnt, over or under cooked, but as a restaurant pitching itself at the top of dining experience in Lismore that is a given. I had the spicy tuna for entree. This is clearly aspirational tuna as...it was certainly lost in the dish and never made itself known. A disappointment that needs to be completely rethought. Another diner nearby also had the misfortune of ordering the tuna and had the same disappointment. Overall the mains were of a high quality as you would expect for the price you are paying, but don't be very hungry. My wife had the lamb and I had the steak for mains both were fine, nothing to write home about. I finished off with the chocolate fondant this was the hero of the night, it was absolutely fantastic. The desert was sensational, and a real credit to Loft. Loft really needs to up its game if it wants to claim any crowns though, the wow is missing."
