Spasso is a classic family owned spot and you can feel it when you go to the counter. The pizza is made with love and it comes through. I opted for a grandma slice with pepperoni and while the pep gets quite oily the flavor delivers. They have little bench seating right outside that is perfect for a sunny day. They seem to boast about their “Brick Ovens” but we ordered a calzone and I’m pretty sure it was deep fried. Not sure why. Wasn’t bad but wasn’t what I was expecting. They also mention on their menu that their pizzas come well done which I am fine with but the chicken franchise pizza we ordered was actually undercooked in my opinion relating to the pizza dough.
