"Absolutely a true gem. While driving from Dallas to Hill Country and looking for a place to stop and have a breakfast, I noticed this small place next to a couple of similar ones on the road. Decided to stop and it was the best decision I could make. Bakery is part of the little complex of businesses that also include a barbecue restaurant and old furniture store, all run by the same family. Food in Bakery itself was amazing fresh, tasty and affordable. Their waffles were so fluffy. We also took a chance and visited furniture store that was a story for itself. All homemade wooden furniture made by the owner. They also made the biggest rocking chair that entered Guinnes ' world book of records. Owners are the most kind and hospitable people you can think off. The only regret that I have was that it was so early I couldn 't try their bbq. Will make it a goal to come here again and try it the next time I 'm around."

"Easy access if you are heading west bound from Ft. Worth. Good selection, unfortunately they are rude and have the don 't bother me attitude. Will never darken the doors of this place again. And neither shall any of my family, a shame was we pass by 4-5 times a month."
