After the year we came here for the dinner with my wife and order this time octopus and palha marisco which was superb and the service is much better than befor...

As in the centre of the rossio near to the thetro Bar derbi a nice gay stop me and ecplain about the menu and we are convinced and sat down and order the grill...

dined with my family service was great and food was good, not fancy and very reasonably priced, menu was standard portuguese fare with fish and beef

We was walking by this place and the gentleman asked us did we like Portugese food, after looking at the menu we decided to give it a try. Food was pretty good...

The restaurant recommended by our hotel had a long line so we went to this place around the corner instead. Not fancy. But generous servings, excellent service...

"The staff were really nice, they let us try the flavors and explained was the menu consisted of. I tried the donut sandwich with salted caramel, it was really good, although both flavors cancel each other out. Definitely will go back to try every other flavor."

"We had a really great experience at Avenew on a quiet Tuesday night. Our hosts were personable and helped make for a memorable evening. We started by splitting the octopus salad. It was wonderful with a glass of a local rose. My wife had the cod with the rose and I had the duck with a really nice red blend. Both of us were quite happy with these (as well as tastes of each other’s main). Dessert with a port was also great. We’ll be happy to come back again!"
