What Nancy V doesn't like about Estrela De Ouro:
Maybe we were here on an off night, but our food was not good nor well prepared. The restaurant was near our apartment and one of few choices open on our last night in Portugal. The room is small but had only one other table in use. The staff hovered around us as if we might carry something out. We had cod (of course), vegetables and potatoes. No dessert. Wine was ok. Easily accessed by tram and bus. View all feedback.
For many years I didn't want to leave a review for fear it will contribute to becoming touristic. It's still the best Portuguese tasca I know. Family run, great...

When the weather conditions is pleasant you can also have something outside, and there is a eating area with chairs/tables. A counter with the ability to sit down is available.
