What User likes about Friends Bairro Alto:
A cosy restaurant, relaxing music in the background and very friendly staff. We even got one (tasty) codfish dish for free. If all the tapas dishes were equally good, I would give it maximum score. Unfortunately, the BBQ ribs were very tough to eat. The other ones (BBQ chicken, codfish pies and french fries) were very good though... View all feedback.

beautiful location and building. service was so not enough server so little attention to customers. the main problem for us was eating again very much. during this trip we had much better tapas at other locations in portugal. for example prawn tortilla was like a thin omelette with a few pieces of kartoffel and 1 prawn on top. we would not go back and would not recommend. Good atmosphere , good service . We went twice during our stay , enjoyed the tapas , good quality and nice selection. Staff on both occasions excellent .
Beautiful setting sitting outside. Service was very friendly! The portion sizes were really big, compared to what we would get in the UK so good value for money...

You can also eat dishes and drinks at the counter of the establishment, and there is a dining room with chairs/tables. If the weather are right, you can also eat outside.
