This was down the street from the Hotel Miraparque where we were staying and was our first experience of how inexpensive Lisbon can be (even with the exchange rate being in favour of the US dollar). A beer is 3 EUR, a glass of wine is 1.5EUR. My vegetable soup was 1.8EUR! Add the roll and butter (which they charge for) and a light lunch was $3! My wife had the (huge) tuna salad for $7. Visited for lunch. Asked, in Portuguese, for bread with butter. Received bread, butter, cheese spread, and sliced cheese. Note I did not ask for any but butter. When the bill came, it included 3.5 euros for each cheese and spread, adding 7 euros to the bill. I do not appreciate getting taken. View all feedback.
