A great place to dine. Owner Jose Castro does a great job of looking after the small details and makes each person that comes in feel welcome. The food is fantastic and you get generous portions. It is a Portuguese family restaurant and we don't...speak the language, but Jose patiently went over the menu telling us what each dish was. Can't say enough about the service and quality of the food. read more.

How to put it. I would like to rate it more. But it would not be fair. Some dishes were disappointing. Especially the gambas that were iced shrimps. Some dishes were really nice. The pork and the ink fish. Overall it’s always a question of...value for money. We paid for dishes and a bottle of wine (quite average) and desserts. It wasn’t worth more than Staff is friendly but honestly you can find better. read more.

"Had the coconut, chocolate and hazelnut ice creams and not only was the price reasonable but easily the best ice cream I've had in Lisbon. The chocolate was dark and rich, the coconut had real coconut and hazelnut was perfect. All the ice creams are...hand made. I also had an espresso which was just right. Intense but smooth not bitter like some other coffee places in Lisbon. The proprietor was ever so friendly and helped me learn a little more Portuguese and allowed us tasters of the ice creams before deciding. Highly recommended!"
