We had a light dinner at the Wine Cellar which was very tasty. The wine selection is fantastic although quite expensive for small glasses. We discovered they had a wine made by my father in law which led to lots of long conversations with the sommelier about the changes in the Portuguese wine industry. Overall a very nice evening. What AggieREprof doesn't like about The Wine Cellar:
Nice seat with very accommodating hostess/waitress. My polvo salad was OK, but not as good as others I've had. My spouse's fried fish was mushy and we were very disappointed. (To their credit, they comped us on her meal, but it should not have happened in the first place. My spouse's red wine was satisfactory, as was mine, but mine was twice as expensive as hers and not worth the extra cost. We had much better reds e... View all feedback.
Loved the food and wine at this spectacular wine bar also i have to applaud the staff for excellent service. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area
I ordered the codfish and asked for an appropriate wine to go with the dish. They had me taste two delicious wines that went great with the very tasty codfish....
