What Steve B doesn't like about Taverna Del Rey:
It is hard to explain but the night starts out ok and the food was ok but not great. When the FADO bega it was also ok but wow when the the players had dispute and walked out that was epic. This left everything a little up in the air and somewhat tense. For the cost for two I am not sure it ranks as a great value meal although the Portuguese certainly fire up read more.

If you're craving tasty fish and seafood, then Taverna Del Rey in Lisbon is just the place for you and its excellent wonderful Portuguese cuisine is the perfect choice, Here, the barbecue is freshly cooked on an open flame. There are also scrumptious menus available, typical for Europe.

It’s Alfama, so catered to tourists, so prices are for that, but overall a pleasant experience with the fado. It’s worth it
