I’ve been here with my family twice and the food doesn’t disappoint. It’s delicious, portion is massive, appetising and the price is good too. Staffs are accommodating as well. We’ll definitely be back again. View all feedback.
What reynoldstom2 doesn't like about Blaze Grill:
We waited for our food for over 40 minutes, despite being the only customers in the restaurant along with another family. The food arrived, but it was not very hot. The staff was friendly, but they forgot to bring knives and forks. We will not be returning to this restaurant. View all feedback.
We entered the restaurant and were given a table number by the girl at the bar. Despite there only being 1 or 2 other tables in the restaurant, we waited for 20 minutes before anyone came to take our orders. After a brief apology for the wait, we ordered drinks (a jug of water and 2 cocktails) and food. It took around half an hour to receive our starters, and I had to ask multiple times for water. When the mains arrived, we still had not received our drinks. The server informed us that they had run out of something and were going to get more. After finishing our main course, I eventually had to get up and get my own water. I felt bad for the young man waiting tables, as his two colleagues behind the bar were not very helpful and appeared to be arguing with him. The main course was tasty and the portion size was large. Unfortunately, out of the 5 or 6 desserts listed on the menu, they only had 2 available, which seemed like basic options bought from the local supermarket. Overall, I would consider returning for food after bowling, but the severe staffing issues greatly affected our experience.
Went bowling for daughters birthday then into blaze for food if you could call it food young girl seen us to table and took orders unfortunately it went down hill from this point we ordered 2 by hotdogs which to be honest were ok not great but the spicey chicken pizza was good unfortunately I ordered a house burger this is where it all came crashing down I cut burger in half which I was very glad I did only to find that the meat was red uncooked) sent back to kitchen told very sorry we will sort you a new burger only to find that second burger was worse than the first one manager comes and is as much use as an ashtray on a motorcycle so if you want a few days of work then maybe this place is for you but my family will never be anywhere near this place again will travel to Dundonald for bowls and food in future. We had great hour bowling and decided that we 'd get food in blaze to save any hassle plus it was a Thursday and was only 1/2 other tables in. We were met by a young girl who clearly seemed like she didn 't want to be there, no warm hello just told table number to sit at and gave menus no big deal just sets bad first impression. We went for pepperoni pizza, partner got a hotdog with pulled pork and side of garlic cubes. The cubes first couple was ok but at least half of them were just crispy hard bits that were inedible. Hot dog wasn 't great and pizza was ok. No table check to see how things are. The food was basically canteen standard food with the local restaurants prices. When we went to pay not even a thank you just a that 's you now . Manners and good customer service litterally cost nothing and massively enhances the whole customer experience. I honestly couldn 't of got out of there quick enough. The restaurant itself is nice, good for groups aswell I 'd imagine and they have music playing although if the bowling alley is bunged Im sure you may still hear it but it adds to the atmosphere. I gave it 2/5 purely because of the diam milkshake I got was awesome and we did have a great time bowling, the food just wasn 't for us. Perhaps if we had a the kids with us it 'd be nice for the party style food I dunno. But purely won 't be back to the restaurant due to customer service was horrendous.
I took my family to Blaze after a game of bowls. The young girl who took our order was very nice, but the other staff members seemed clueless. They forgot to give us knives and forks until after our food arrived. The kids ordered burgers and chips, but they didn't enjoy the burgers and said they weren't good. My wife ordered the chicken stack, which turned out to be a plate of deep-fried chicken with a pile of fried onions that was so dry she had to ask for BBQ sauce. My Philly steak was also disappointing, and it looked so unappetizing that I even joked about eating my phone instead. The girl was apologetic, but I assured her it wasn't her fault. This was the first time in my 42 years of life that I ever felt the need to complain.
Visited today with a group of friends. There was only our group another family in at the time. First of all we were told that they weren’t doing most things on the menu only pizzas loaded fries could be ordered. This wasn’t ideal but we had bowling booked so continued with our order. The order then took over an hour to come to the table even at this arrived at all different time’s so some were half finished their food when others were only arriving. Some of the orders were wrong all of the staff were very young didn’t seem to know what was going on or be able to answer any of our questions about the food menu. Service was slow attitude of staff was awful. I would not recommend. There is a range of much nicer restaurants in the same area that would be much more worthy of your custom
