We’ve been critical of here in past reviews and returned yesterday 1 March 24 for the first visit in a long time. We got cod chips pension specials and the battered fish which was real tasty was thin in 3 of the 4 nuggets. Honestly make it 2 or 3 nuggets and make the fish a bit thicker as batter should never out proportion the fish. Chips were perfection again the portion isn’t generous. Having previously purchased from this establishment, I was shocked to find the quality of what was produced left a lot to be desired …! The chips were re-heated and dry and the “Greasy” yellowed frozen haddock would have had the local cats fleeing !
