"I had there a sole fish. Perfect cooking, great taste, good price (19.50 with tasty potatoes. A beer (4 salad, and ice cream... The waitress is very nice, the atmosphere is great... we liked all. call the to book a table in summer."

"One of the most cozy places on Sylt. Super friendly staff despite stress, mega tasty, homemade cakes, prices that are perfectly fine. And in Corona times a hygienic concept is really mad. Yes, you have to wait everywhere for a free table. You enter the guest register (yes also for your own safety), only after the disinfection of the free table you are asked to sit. The toilets are licked. Keep going.... We'll be back"

"My wife and I have been several times in the cafe mateika and have always received very good breakfast. the price for this is unfortunately somewhat overpriced, but the new ambiente and the great service make it back up. a thank you especially belongs to a Czech student, who has taken care of us every time as a service force and has made the breakfast a better one. we look forward to next time."

"Beach bistro bar, with a setting, and do not feel often seen along the German coast. For a small lunch, during a beach day, drink to beach or sunset. Order and pay at the counter. Surfers come together. Relative, rather high prices, but understandable, how...the remote location, and being on an island requires a bit more logistics. Supposed to be very lively on sunny days, and event program, summer evenings. Beer in the bottle, no beer. You must go about 12 minutes from the parking lot through the protected dune area. You pay for the parking lot, and you pay additional Euro four, per head, for the beach entrance. You can also go by bus (bus from “List” towards “Westerland” or opposite direction, but be ready to go about 300 meters along the main road, as well as about a km from the parking lot. The advantage is to walk, you can after a drink at this place along the beach to “camp” where you take a bus to your next stop. Bus 1, from "Kampen Dikstich" (Ask bus driver). Recreation rooms, around the corner of the house, quite clean for a beach area."

"We found this place by chance and really liked the interior. The restaurant has a playroom that is so great for families and also offers a playground right outside the door. Service is attentive, but it seems that the guy talked to every table... but not we seemed to have been all locals. Even chatted while we served our table, which felt a bit strange. Food was great, fantastic pizza and pasta. Would go back."
