Good food good price... great staff. The chili on some days can be a little lack luster... but other days it has a fantastic spice and really makes the breakfast burrito! View all feedback.
What Pete Lurquin doesn't like about Tamale Kitchen:
Two stars only because food was good. They messed up my order (which they apparently often do because of all the signs posted in the store that they aren?t responsible once you leave), made me pay again, and then wait fifteen minutes in store for my order(while others in line behind me got their food first). Let?s just say customer service isn?t their forte. View all feedback.
Got 6 red, 6 green rice, plus 2 hard tacos. They were damn good! Not soggy with the bottom falling out by the time I got home. 1st time there and we will be bck!!! Both types of tamales were tasty. I can only hope they make sweet tamales during the holidays!!

Outstanding classic special bacon breakfast burrito. The egg-potato-bacon ratio is always on par and you don't just get a mouthful of any one thing in these burritos. The side salsa is also a good offering.
Some of the best green chili out there. My favorite is the smothered beef burrito. It's literally a giant tube of ground beef and nothing else rolled in a tortilla. They also have family style dinners starting at $28 that are a great value. Breakfast burritos are also very tasty. Sometimes there is a bit of inconsistency between stores (or maybe it's the employees). Also be careful with the to go packaging. You can end up with a smothered paper bag. They also aren't falling over themselves to be friendly and welcoming but who cares, I'm here for the burritos!
The breakfast burritos, which come with delicious red green sauce on the side, have become a Saturday morning staple. I also really like their cheese enchiladas with red sauce (yum, the sauce and their crunchy beef tacos (also yummy sauce . I'm picky about my tacos, and these are definitely NOT your plain old premade shells stuffed with bland ground beef. The sells are thin crispy and tasty. The shredded cheese melts into the beef and the taco sauce is excellent. I like that they put the lettuce and tomato on the side so tacos don't get soggy. Their prices are awesome and they always have some kind of a special going on. They're also incredibly fast and friendly. The salsa is really good. The only thing I don't care for is their tortilla chips. They a bit hard. I just prefer them a little thinner/crispier.
