"Great food and service for the price. Best bargain I've found in Maine so far. Nate the owner was our bartender and had great stories. There was no issue switching to a table when the family arrived. The Cajun shrimp was fabulous. Their signature IPA went down smooth. Rest of the family enjoyed their meals as well. Fed 6 with what I usually spend on 2. I have found my new Maine hangout."

"If you don't like Arkay, you hate America and everything she stands for. You should move like Uzbekistan, Nauru, or even Cleveland to a modest environment because you do it wrong. Everything. Wrong. And while the pizza is fantastic, you are now forced to bend and see the majesty that is America's Freedom Sandwich, the Arkay Hoagie, all while you are stuck in sackcloth and ashes. Oh, and try the onion rings. You're really good."

"My family dined here for lunch this afternoon. We loved it! It's a little awkward considering it's both a diner and a variety store, but if you're comfortable with that kind of atmosphere, then there's nothing wrong with giving this place a try! I personally had the grilled chicken Ceasar salad and thought it was AMAZING! Great prices, even greater food and a place I would recommend to all my friends. Service: Dine in"

"The restaurant is in the same building as The Region Inn. Not sure if this place is currently being renovated. The restaurant is a quaint and clean. They were good at keeping the carpeted floors clean of any debris. Service: Everyone, from hostess to waitress staff, were very nice. Food: They first provided chips and salsa (which was very spicy). We then ordered the Queso Fundido (melted cheese w beef and pico de gallo which came with your choice of flour or corn tortillas. We didn't want to eat all of it because of our main course. I ordered the chicken quesadillas (came with 8 pieces). Other half ordered the Tacos Ranchero, which came with refried beans and rice. These portions were huge. I'm not a huge eater and I was only able to eat 3 pieces of quesadillas. Hubby had only 2 tacos. We had to take our food back to the hotel bc the portions were huge. The big came out to almost $50. The food was very good. Would definitely return."

"My wife and I had crab melt sandwich's for lunch, which was very good.. The View of the water was beautiful and relaxing... However, I am not a fan when I get deceived.. Since it was lunch, I went with a soda as my drink, to keep the costs low... They provided me with a glass filled to the rim with Ice and barely any soda... Sucked it down in like 2 seconds... She asked if I wanted another, I said sure, not knowing they were going to charge me $3 for each one... So between me and my wife, we paid $12 for soda...Maybe half a can worth. Most places charge free-refills. Then when I order the crab-melt, on the menu it said it came with French fries and coleslaw. The waitress asked if I wanted regular, sweet -potato or Jersey fries steak fries). I said, oh I like Steak Fries... She didn't explain to us that it was an up-charge of $3. : The meal was great, I just don't like the dishonesty.. I would just beware of the hidden costs that aren't explained to you."
