absolutely wonderful eating, great service and an atmosphere in a large space. in a large airy room on the floor of the bluecoat art gallery/center. the lamb was tasty and delicate and locally utilized. pudding was a first rate sticky sticky sticky toffee pudding! really rich and ingenious. service was always warm, attentive and helpful, not stuffy. read more.

Was very busy which was good to see and lots of staff serving. However, I asked what soup of the day was ,and 3 members of didn’t know. They had to ask the manager . Surely that’s a basic thing, staff should know? Sat outside on a table which was in the sun. Table was dirty . When food cane out , I asked if she could clean the table .
