In the evening we were going out to the Hanover Street Social so we had pre-meal cocktails in the bar. These were very good with the specialties (not surprisingly) being rum based I had the Zombie and Red chose the Mai Tai. the entire building is steep in history and remembers rms titanic and the white star line to celebrate liverpools maritime history. the ship thema sits through the building dripping in chandelier, luxurious carpets and gold decorated functions a nod to vulnerability of the magnificent yet refined titanic. the restaurant is named after the Liverpool ship rms carpathia, which rescues all 705 titanic surviving. on the 7...
