Contribute FeedbackWreckfish in Liverpool offers a mixed dining experience that captivates some diners while disappointing others. While many praise the delicious, high-quality food and attentive service, a few reviews highlight inconsistencies in execution and flavor combinations. Diners can expect elegantly crafted dishes, though a handful found certain items bland or overly sweet. The atmosphere is frequently described as welcoming and vibrant, making for an enjoyable outing. Prices reflect the quality of the ingredients, attracting a clientele willing to splurge for a memorable meal. Overall, Wreckfish is seen as a worthy culinary destination, albeit with room for refinement in some areas.
Nice eating and excellent service. brilliant experience.
The inkfish was very lemony and the bark was very salty. that was a shame because it would have been very nice to eat.
I was mid juni for my birthday and was disappointed. eating was badly executed and there was lack of ripe, flair and spice(crisis ox zunge must be refined and not only a large lump on the plate. sticky squash was nicely cooked, but smoked kartoffel puree was blanching and there was much too many pumpkin seeds on the plate must have been about 50 seeds on the teller. pan fried sea bass filet was bland and red pfeffer puree was much too sweet, exaggerated everything else on the plate. a long way to go for this place as one of the best restaurants in liverpool, not even near the top 10.
My husband had been given a voucher for here for his birthday last August! The food, wine and beer were all excellent. Friendly helpful staff. It was well worth the wait, we will definitely return.
Amazing food, with a lovely ambience. Service excellent as was the we food drinks.
