We were a large group and nearly everyone had a different meal. There are typical Italian meals like in most restaurants here, but they also had some more choice including duck and pork cheeks both recommended. Very good pizza too. What almostbear doesn't like about Amerikan:
We visited the Amerikan restaurant with friends for dinner. The restaurant is placed in the downstairs areas of the hotel. Service was friendly and prompt. Unfortunately the food was not up to the standard of such a nice location and service. Most of us ordered sciatt as a starter (a local dish of fried cheese balls) and they were rubbery and tasteless. The food was really good and the atmosphere quite relaxing. The beef was cooked exactly how we asked. The service was really good.
