Tyddyn Llan - Llandrillo

Been visiting here since before Chef Brian got his M. Star. I can 't fault the place ... in any way! Excellent hospitality. Stunning food worthy of a detour , as the guide says, and I can report from our the last 2 visits, very recently, that it 's getting even better than ever before. Chef serves up the best Sunday lunch I 've had, anywhere. Wow!

Stayed just 1 night using Travelzoo voucher. Included 6 course taster menu we added matching wines. Fantastic in every respect. Food was wonderful best lamb we have ever tasted. Staff friendly very professional. All guests made to feel special pampered including our spaniel Joe. Just a cracking spot for a break !

Simply one of the best meals I've had. Service was great too. We had 6 course taste menu we all couldn't decide which was the course. Truly outstanding.

My husband and I dined at Tyddyn Llan over the weekend for my birthday and we both very much enjoyed it. It was a little more relaxed than the previous Michelin-starred restaurant we had visited which was a nice change. It's a beautiful restaurant with very attentive staff. The entire menu sounded delicious and when our food arrived we were not disappointed. The portions were much large than we had expected and every course was delicious, I especially loved the scallops that I had as a starter. It was such a lovely evening we cannot wait to return.
