"A very attractive property with very friendly and professional staff. Unfortunately our bed was in need of replacement and there are no options for walking from the property. Note to the owner or manager. If you say there is a dress requirement for dinner then you should empower your staff to refuse service (or provide an alternative option) for your patrons that do not have the required attire. That way we would have not have to share our meal with gentlemen wearing high visibility jackets and baseball caps. August 23 2023 rm #5"

"Lovely place on the main road. Roaring fire keeping us warm on the evening we visited. Had a really nice carribean style curry and the pudding was amazing (chocolate fruit and nut Torte). Nice choice of Welsh brewed real ales. Recommended. Service: 4 Location: 5"

"Really friendly atmosphere with plenty of parking. A couple of vegan/vegetarian options on the menu which are clearly labelled. Note that while a lot of the drinks are vegan, they are not marked as such. I tried the sweet butternut and chickpea burger and while everything was fresh, some of the butternut was undercooked. Make sure you check the menu before you visit as there's not much vegan/vege choice."

"After a day of travelling me, my partner, sister in law her partner wanted to go somewhere nice for tea. When we arrived there was 1 vehicle on the car park so we wasn’t sure if the restaurant was open. We asked for a table of 4 and was told there wasn’t any room for us that it was bookings only, we could clearly see the restaurant was empty as there was only 2 gentlemen at the bar having a drink. I think the lady behind the bar, took one look at me my family realised we wasn’t from the area so we didn’t receive a friendly response. I won’t be coming here again wouldn’t recommend to anyone."

"We stayed here for 2 nights as it was my partners birthday. Our room was beautifully decorated with quality pieces and super.clean. Food in restaurant was delicious. Bar staff were attentive. Linda the owner was so helpful with local tour suggestions and patient with all my questions. Do visit as would highly recommended. Hope to be back soon."
