What User likes about The Ritz:
do not let them be exposed by the large number of bare tables and radio as background music. after we were three weeks on the costa brava, we just wanted half a decent steak and a few chips. the quality of the steak was exceptional and perfectly cooked washed...ab with a decent chilled red wine. only fabulous! "We were very excited to try this cute restaurant while staying in Lloret de Mar. We found it randomly on a Tuesday afternoon and were turned away as it was “impossible” to get a table without a reservation. We made a reservation and returned 2 days later for lunch. To say that it did not meet expectations is an understatement. We waited at least 30min before our drinks orders were taken, it was almost 1,5 hours by the time the entrees arrived. With 2 small children all the waiting was just unbearable! The food was not bad, the grilled prawns were really fresh and the lobster and monk- fish stew was tasty, while the risotto was just okay. The kids menu was not great and we received the wrong mains dishes, but after all the waiting the kids just ate it. The experience can be summed up as a lot of waiting and frustration; all the while no one came to talk to us or apologize for getting the wrong meals and long time taken for drinks to arrive after being ordered. Although they did not charge for 2 beverages, I guess as compensation. I have no doubt that this could be was a great restaurant, I think they have become very complacent when it comes to service. For Michelin we expected a lot better."
