"The cafe didn't look the best visually as compared to most cafes I've been to in Brisbane but don't let its mediocre appearance mislead you. Jacaranda Coffee Lane stands out as a Asian fusion-inspired cafe that serves plenty of unique and original dishes. The presentations of our crab omelette ciabatta and Tasmanian scallops on sweet potato fritters were absolutely impeccable and looked amazing for cafe standard. Both didn't disappoint in taste, they were super delish. My friend feels that the matcha latte is a bit too sweet. As for my mocha, it was smooth and enough of chocolatey goodness. Service was impressive. The service staff would come by occasionally to make sure we're alright with our meals and if we needed anything else. We were even served a free fruit dessert to end our meal! Everything was spot-on, this definitely won't be my last visit!"

"I don’t write reviews. If I write, I’d write it with great appreciation. I live in Newstead and that is why I decided to try this restaurant (I usually try Japanese restaurant cautiously). This is my third ?forth time to dine in on a Saturday for lunch. This restaurant has not disappointed me even once since it’s opening. I have Kaisen don (sashimi don) every time. The sashimi is always nice and fresh in good variety and generous serving. Also, the staffs are always warm and welcoming. If my partner or friend ask me to go out for a poke bowl, I would rather come here for a sashimi don without a hesitation. Finally, I believe the quality of the food is better than how it is rated."

"This small restaurant has a simple but very effective menu. I would say it is the most non-Asian restaurant in the Sunnybank area but still maintains an Asian influence in many of it's dishes. I always enjoy coming here. The menu has a variety of easy to share tapa style dishes and burgers with very interesting flavour combinations which are a pleasure to sample and share with a group. My personal favourite is the slow-cooked lamb skewers. Yum!The staff are friendly and are always quick to refill your water glass and refresh an empty water bottle. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and complexity of the dishes.The desserts are also fantastic. I would recommend Sunnybank Bistro to anyone. This place is great for any meal and would even stand alone as a decent dessert restaurant."

"We love this restaurant and eat here all the time with friends and family. High quality food, fantastic service and a great atmosphere we have been here 20 30 times and never had a bad experience. The menu is superb, offering plenty of choice for even the fussiest eater. The staff are the best, very friendly and fast service. I celebrated my birthday here this year with 15 other guests, Shinbashi had no problem catering to such a large group and everyone had a great time. This is my favourite restaurant in Brisbane. I highly recommend dining here!"
