Yum! The meat is really fresh and there is a large variety of seafood and other ingredients from which you can choose from. Service is quick, and the environment has a clean feel. A little bit pricey considering you have to pay an additional $5 for soup base, but given the seafood and meat is fresh and includes fish such as mussels, scallops, squid etc and sashimi, this is understandable. Will definitely go again. read more.

The restaurant also offers the possibility to sit outside and be served in nice weather.

Very confusing for first timers although 1 staff member done her best to help. Was over charged on exit and when I brought up the charges lady pretended she did not know what I was talking about in regards to 2 small children being charged adult rate. Very disappointing and wont be returning. read more.

"The cafe didn't look the best visually as compared to most cafes I've been to in Brisbane but don't let its mediocre appearance mislead you. Jacaranda Coffee Lane stands out as a Asian fusion-inspired cafe that serves plenty of unique and original dishes. The presentations of our crab omelette ciabatta and Tasmanian scallops on sweet potato fritters were absolutely impeccable and looked amazing for cafe standard. Both didn't disappoint in taste, they were super delish. My friend feels that the matcha latte is a bit too sweet. As for my mocha, it was smooth and enough of chocolatey goodness. Service was impressive. The service staff would come by occasionally to make sure we're alright with our meals and if we needed anything else. We were even served a free fruit dessert to end our meal! Everything was spot-on, this definitely won't be my last visit!"

"I don’t write reviews. If I write, I’d write it with great appreciation. I live in Newstead and that is why I decided to try this restaurant (I usually try Japanese restaurant cautiously). This is my third ?forth time to dine in on a Saturday for lunch. This restaurant has not disappointed me even once since it’s opening. I have Kaisen don (sashimi don) every time. The sashimi is always nice and fresh in good variety and generous serving. Also, the staffs are always warm and welcoming. If my partner or friend ask me to go out for a poke bowl, I would rather come here for a sashimi don without a hesitation. Finally, I believe the quality of the food is better than how it is rated."
