I have been to this restaurant quite a few times over the years but of late they have produced excellent meals I usually order the Lunch steak which is a 200grm rump steak and has always been cooked to my liking medium rare and they have a two die for blue cheese sauce that compliments it. What User doesn't like about The Newnham Hotel Restaurant:
We used to eat here all the time and I've had some pretty dodgy meals, fly in the schnitzel crumb, plastic in a steak burger but this was by far the worst meal ever for the whole family of 5. Rude service and wouldn't follow through on something advertised. Meals were disgusting! Garlic bread tasted like it was reheated in microwave and all of our meals except one were burnt. After lunch on the 19th juni, the new menu is again in good solid pub food, well presented and generous portions!
Went for lunch here today 12/5/19 and my family and I were very pleased. We booked online and our table was there ready and waiting for us. The food was amazing...
