My family and I enjoyed our 4 night stay in Cougar Bluff cabin! My daughter was sad to leave. The property is absolutely beautiful and so close to trails. My kids are small so we only managed to do two hikes (Rim Rock Garden of the Gods) but we did enjoy the lake at Pounds Hollow. We also enjoyed feeding the donkeys, mini horses and goats. The area is beautiful and the grounds and cabins are beautiful. We loved all the animals and the cute little garden area for guests. The hiking trail on the grounds are well maintained and clean. Our cabin however was not the cleanest. The ac didn't work very well and the cabin stayed around 84 degrees in the day time. There was mouse droppings all over the bed when we went to go to sleep.
