What Carol C doesn't like about Stolp Island Social:
Had reservations for 4pm before the 5:30pm Paramount show. My dinner date, an 81yo with recent knee surgery, couldn't sit comfortably in the soft low chair we asked to be re seated and the hostess didn't hide her annoyance. Aurora needed this restaurant. It's location next to the theater makes it perfect for pre-show or post-show dining, but it will be a destination of its own soon. Downtown has several casual restaurants, but it needed an upscale dining room. This restaurant has a casual vibe, but the food is definitely upscale.
