"We absolutely loved out experience at Ristorante Il Barone! The service was extremely welcoming, kind, and engaging, they had us laughing and smiling through the whole dinner. The food was so incredible, we're still talking about it a month later. We've already recommended this place to three other couples/friends who have summer trips to France. "Very slow service. the waitresses passed by me for 10 minutes without saying hello or bringing the menu. then flash control without amability. Pizza was very average. high prices. the outdoor terrace is pleasant."

"As we walked in to the restaurant we were asked if we had a reservation. We didn't and I thought we'd have to go elsewhere, no, the gentleman greeted us amicably in his broken English and I responded in my broken French. From that moment on we were pampered and feasted on local ingredients cooked to perfection! The menu varies depending on the ingredients found that day, there is a tendency to fuse cuisines ,but, mainly it is french taste and recipes. The wines suggested turned out fabulous, dessert unique. Great experience, Merci!!"

"Visited the restaurant on Saturday evening while visiting Paris for a long weekend with some friends. There was 9 of us but we didn't book because we weren't sure when we were going to be around to go for dinner. We fronted up at about 9pm and luckily they had 2 tables, so we had a 4 and 5 which suited us well. 2 of us on my table had the 3 course set menu for 31 Euros which I thought was excellent value. I had the marinated salmon with rocket to start which was incredible, the salmon was delicious. I then had the duck breast main with dauphinoise potatoes and foie gras sauce and salad which was heaven. The duck was lovely and pink and full of flavour complementing well with the foie gras and the dauphinoise. For dessert I had the lemon shortcake, which was a little disappointing. The shortcake pieces were rather dry. Although the dessert wasn't as good as the other courses, I would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant. Service was good and friendly understanding staff. All my friends had a great evening and enjoyed their foods too."
