"Food was decent. We were pressured to choose our bottle or wine and then it took them 20 minutes to take our order. Service was odd, disorganized and disappointing. Glad we did not order the tasting menu. Staff were setting up for breakfast service while we ate. We were duped by Michelin. Should have known better as it is an airport hotel."

"We had to return for a second dinner at this charming restaurant in San Pantaleo. The restaurant is spacious and attractively furnished with some outside seating on terraces. The staff were all super attentive and knowledgeable, going out of their way to accommodate our needs (gluten free products were quickly produced without query and staff were able to advise about the suitability of individual dishes). That brings me to the highlight of the restaurant, the menu. We tried a number of dishes, outstanding of which were Lingotto di pecorino grigliato con guanciale sardo, in crosta di carasau con cipolla caramel lata, Costoletta di agnello cbt laccata al miele, cubo di patate fondente e cicoria saltata and Fregola all’assaggio di mare con cozze, vongole, gambero e seppia. The standout dish in the end was cozze con zucchine e zafferano (AMOREVOLI), the most delicious confection of courgette, cream and saffron coating perfectly cooked mussels. After such a wealth of mains and starters, we were unable to try their dessert menu but I am sure they would be of equally high standard. They did produce a fabulous birthday cake as a special request and even this did not disappoint. Thank you, Lilliana, Graziano and team an excellent experience."
