We were euro camping near Loix on the ile de Re. The village of Loix is tiny but nice. There is one jewel in the crown and that is its bakery and little cafe. You can take away or have lunch. Choices are limited for savoury dishes but excellent value. The owners are lovely and their toilets are hotel standard. nice place to Loix where you can enjoy pastries, salads, croques etc. and drink on the terrace. the almondine cake with blackcurrant was very good but the chocolate muffin was not really tasted and was quite dry. coffee was close to an American coffee while I wanted an expresso, a pity.
