We stopped in Saturday for lunch and what an incredible find. The place is so clean and has a great menu. Rae, the owner, is an absolute joy! She is so kind and welcoming. The food was amazing. What DEE Chicago doesn't like about Surf’s Up Lombard:
Chicken was BURNT didn’t even try to use enough sauce to distinguish the burnt ness… then when I called about the chicken being burnt… the guy tells me the grease needs to be changed so it’s frying quicker than usual then offered to remake my order …WITH THE SAME BURNT GREASE ???? I don’t recommend this joint View all feedback.
The grilled shrimp are amazing. You can tell the ingredients are fresh. Definitely will come back.
