What TimH doesn't like about Benares:
Very nice atmosphere and staff. Food is of high quality and creative. One negative is the price of wine. A basic Chablis is outrageously priced at £120 a bottle. Pricing is generally inflated by the local market populated by tourist and more particularly private equity houses and hedge fund. Avoid the wine and stick to the beer.
