We arrived rather late as we were stuck in traffic but the staff were extremely welcoming. We were escorted to our table by Arthur who did a excellent job recommending the drinks. Our server was polite and friendly we wanted the lamb but they had run out. We were disappointed but the Chorizo with prawns followed by the Chateaubriand soon made up for it, as both were divine. We were a party of 2 for lunch on a Sunday. The person serving us was super friendly when they were around, they just weren't around often enough. Out food was served; I had the fish chips and my friend had the shepherds' pie. Both were a bit bland tasting. I wanted mayonnaise with my chips but no one was around to ask. Only when we both finished eating, did someone come around which by then, was too late. View all feedback.

Waiter was brilliant as was the food. Had the fixed price lunch which was good value for the quality.
