While some reviewers had mixed experiences with reservations and seating, the general consensus is that the food is decent, with highlights like a flavorful rib-eye steak and crispy fries. The wine selection is also praised, with knowledgeable staff ready to make recommendations. The historic cellar setting adds charm to the experience, although the lack of disabled access may be a downside for some. Overall, Champagne Charlie's is a reliable choice for a casual meal or a drink in London, with attentive staff and a convenient location near Charing Cross Station.
