We really enjoyed our visit to Estrela Bar. It was quiet on our arrival (Sunday lunchtime) but it soon filled up and is clearly a popular local destination. The restaurant is very pleasant, the service was very good. We enjoyed the food- I had great sardines! The helpings were very generous and the bill was most reasonable. We hope to return. What Bethany Hunt doesn't like about Estrela Bar:
Very poor customer service. When we arrived said we have a booking the response was we 're full while waving his arms around. They didn 't bother to ask our name or check for our reservation. We got we 're full a few times we have a wedding in the restaurant. Don 't bother booking as they won 't honour the booking. View all feedback.
Nice trad portuguese food Big portions! Service a bit slow at times but was generally friendly and polite.
