Always a pleasure to lunch here. Haven't tried evening as it's not local for us at Sandwich, but it's more convenient than Tenterden to meet friends from Uckfield and Eastbourne. Staff very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Arrive early and enjoy coffee in armchairs around the blazing wood burner while perusing the excellent menu.
