I wouldn't really go out of my way to recommend the food, but the setting is to die for. A rather apt description, actually, as it's in the crypt of St John's Smith Square, entered down a set of stone steps. Inside it's glorious; vaulted, warm colours, imposing. Came in here for some much needed downtime at the end of a long afternoon of sightseeing in Westminster and a lot of walking. Loved the decor and ambience in the crypt setting. Definitely somewhere good to relax. I only had a pot of fresh mint tea, which was good and served in a big pot. Staff were helpful and efficient. Can’t comment on the food offering.
