a few weeks ago on a Saturday here and had a nice morning. frank’s canteen is located on a relatiw quiet street, but the caffe was busy very quickly and although small had a warm, flowering atmosphere. the mushroom dish I ordered was delicious cream-fraiche, mushrooms, potato-terragon ragout, fried eggs, parmesan and crispy hazelnuts. very recommended to order this! if you are going there at the weekend, best to come... read more.

Not a pleasant experience! Very judgemental. Yesterday my partner and I spent about £50 at Franks. However today as soon as I sat down I was pounced on and told I could not use my laptop and no work allowed on a Sunday and my time was limited to 1 hour.
