we were initially charged, the restaurant was very busy and we had no booking. we have a booking through open table that has been confirmed, abd returned 15 minutes later to be offered a table, but with a long wait for eating due to the busy resraurant, although from the recipe it is not excessive bysy. could it not be the maitre d that we were dressed in jeans and t-shirts?
