I had my moro east cookbook for years and some of the recipes have become clips in my own repertoire, but I have never been in the restaurant. that changed on Friday. the atmosphere floats! the waiting staff was polite and attentive. all three courses were visually stunning and packed with taste. the ingredients were top notch. absolutely super! we had a great lunch that celebrated my man's birthday and as a vegan I could eat a cursed mezze that was delicious; but I would say it was disappointing when it came into the desert as there was nothing but vegan listed. so unfortunately we found another caffe to have dessert and coffee. of course we would have stayed in moro.
