Been here 2x and it 's just off for some reason. That said, given this last visit 's screwups I had to give it a Could 've been better , don 't recommend it...

Great food ambiance view ... scallops amazing crab starter ok ... duck breast good haddock clam chowder amazing !! And the parfait was amazing

"Such wonderful service in this cosy restaurant. The waiting staff are very knowledgeable, the interior rich and warm, and and the food artistic and unique. Of course the main thing people talk about here is the Makhan Malai (butter cream). Available in pretty much one town in India for two weeks a year, Indian Accent as far as I know is the only company serving it outside India. It's like eating a milky creamy cloud! I opted for the tasting menu for my wife's birthday. Great modern takes on traditional Indian fare from street food to the usual famous dishes. The width and breath of the choice represented on the menu was phenomenal. The cocktails aren't bad either! Will certainly return."

"The food was delightful. And we just loved the ethos of this place. We have eaten out a lot in London and this is definitely one of our favourite experiences. Bring your own wine and prepare for a wonderful evening. With so many restaurants here, it's hard to go to the same place more than once, but it's worth it for this one so we'll be back :D"

"Good food and decor but service was just a bit off unfortunately. Love the concept but we were seated with no explanation on how it works. All they need is for the maitre d' to say when you're ready to eat grab a plate and fill it with your choice from the buffet, then take to the cashier to weigh and pay . One sentence that could have made the whole experience much easier and more enjoyable. Toilets were in a pretty horrendous state too!"

"Simply the best evening I have all the time when in london Max’s goes with it. the atmosphere radiates the love to what he does and passion for the almighty sandwich! before making the terrible mistake, a sandwich to dinner next to a beautiful cold beer, they keep this in mind, this will be the best and most surprising culinary decision they will make in a long, long time! bring me to the dead cell and max makes better for my last ham, egg chips!"
