My husband and I had a wonderful experience and fantastic meal at Shad Indian!! It was hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST Indian food I have ever tasted!! Every course was superb! Our appetizers, Samosa and Onion Bhaji, were the best we’ve ever had. My main entree, Chicken Jalfrezi (they allowed me to substitute lamb), was amazing and so tasty! I decided to give this restaurant a try as an alternative to the wonderful but slightly expensive Tower Tandoori. The meal was decent, but not outstanding. There was nothing to complain about except for the nan bread, which was thin and soggy. It's not a bad Indian restaurant, and being located on Tooley Street, I'm sure it gets plenty of business.
